How OS33 Works
Cloud Connector
Tap the Cloud
The OS33 Cloud Connector gives Managed Service Providers access to an unlimited supply of cloud-based computing resources by enabling them to connect to and gain immediate access to one or more cloud providers. Tap into different types of cloud resources and easily build optimal hybrid solutions for your clients. MSPs initially implementing OS33 need at least one Cloud Connector to connect to OS33 Grid or their own Private Cloud; MSPs expand their capabilities by purchasing additional connections as needed.
OS33 Virtual Datacenter Controller
The OS33 Virtual Datacenter Controller is a revolutionary new component of the OS33 Platform, which allows Managed Service Providers to self-provision and manage infrastructure resources across multiple clouds.
Using OS33's VDC, Managed Service Providers can:
- Instantly deploy Virtual Server Resources using a self-service provisioning portal, and make them available to be converted into user-facing IT assets and presented to the end-users on their webtops (web-based desktops)
- Use hypervisor agnostic capabilities of OS33 Virtual Datacenter Controller to allow service providers to use a single interface to manage virtual infrastructure resources across OS33’s IaaS Cloud, providers’ own infrastructure, and public cloud. MSPs can mix and match virtual resources based on client needs, creating a unified solution controlled from a single pane of glass.
- Enable clients to peer into the infrastructure backend to track utilization and monitor resources
- Integrate with existing infrastructure management systems policies and processes
Plug into Any Private or Public Cloud Resources
The supply of cloud resources available to the VDC includes the OS33 Grid, private data center/private cloud resources and public cloud resources.
- OS33 Grid
The OS33 Grid is our Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform designed to offer Managed Service Providers using OS33 a near unlimited supply of on-demand, interoperable, tested and ready-to-deploy cloud-based server resources and storage. OS33 Grid enables Managed Service Providers to instantly rent infrastructure across the US, which enables them to dramatically accelerate deployment time for clients — without any hardware investment. - Private Cloud Resources
Utilizing OS33, Managed Service Providers with their own facilities are able to turn their existing infrastructure investments into a true multi-tenant platform optimized for cloud-based IT delivery. When an MSP grows out of their own facilities, they can get additional infrastructure resources by using OS33 to easily tap into cloud resources nationwide — enabling MSPs to create ultimate hybrid configurations for clients. - Public Cloud
Tap into economical public cloud resources — like Amazon — for web 2.0 applications, storage, off-site backup, disaster recovery, and more.
