Becoming an MSP Partner

Requirements and Acceptance

Membership in the OS33 MSP Partner Program is based on an initial application and agreement, completing the required initial training, and establishing an initial base infrastructure grid. After acceptance, partnership status is evaluated yearly based on partners meeting minimum licensing, training, and marketing requirements. The process for becoming a partner includes:

  • Complete the OS33 Partner Application & Agreement.
  • Complete an initial set of OS33 partner training courses (see below) with associated fees to activate partner status.
  • Build base infrastructure for OS33 cloud services. Partners can provide their own data center resources for their initial cloud-based grid, or they can choose to use resources from the OS33 Grid.
  • Maintain annual licensing target of 500 seats per year, once a partner is accepted. Partners are expected to maintain certain levels of activity, including sales and promotions, registering deals for exclusivity and margin benefits, and business reviews.
  • Partners are also required to include the OS33 Service Provider icon on their websites.

Partner Training —
The Cloud Launch Program

Complimentary
Sales and Positioning Training

Partners are trained on how to sell OS33's cloud-based IT services that are built using OS33's Cloud Control Panel and delivered via a Webtop GUI.

Sales training covers the use of a number of OS33 provided tools, including a solution configurator, brochures, and PowerPoint presentations — all the building blocks partners need to shape their own unique offerings. The course also covers how to evaluate prospects, how to determine the resources they need, how to price solutions, and how to make clients feel comfortable with the process.

Grid Configuration Training
During this training program, OS33 deployment engineers work side-by-side with new partners to create an initial cloud-based infrastructure grid. This initial infrastructure can be obtained from the OS33 Grid cloud, or for partners with their own data center(s), grid resources are provisioned on their own resources.

Standard Startup Environment Training
The standard startup environment deployed in a single cloud-ready data center will include Active Directory, Exchange© 2010, File System, SharePoint, Blackberry©, SQL Server, and one or more Citrix© XenApp farms. Each aspect of the startup environment is designed for easy scale up in order to meet clients' needs for growth.

Client Environment Setup
and Configuration Training

This program trains new partners on how to provision a company using the OS33 Cloud Control Panel, including how to: set up new clients, publish applications, customize the Webtop GUI, allocate server resources, configure collaboration options, and everything else required to deliver a customizable set of cloud-based services.

Services selected for any solution are tied to specific resources necessary for delivery. Along with the OS33 Grid, we offer a true plug-and-play system when it comes to delivering email, collaboration services and standard applications. Pick and choose the services to deliver and provision the resources your clients need in just minutes.

Migration Training
Migration training covers a standardized, step-by-step best-practices process to follow when migrating clients from traditional on-site IT infrastructure to hosted, cloud-based IT utilizing OS33.

Starting with client discovery and analysis, this training encompasses all the issues surrounding taking new client solutions live, including how to execute the formal cutover to the new system.

Topics include dealing with printers, how on-site configurations impact a client's Webtop GUI, working with users to test the system, training users on their applications, and how to work with test data. Training templates for partners to use with their clients and end users are also provided.

If the partner chooses to migrate their own company to our platform, there is no charge for this training.
