Sponsors include Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, MarketCounsel, and eSentire; full-day Summit will take place on Sept. 19 at the Microsoft Technology Center in New York, NY
New York, NY – September 9, 2016 – Workplace, a provider of unified cloud computing solutions to financial services clients, will host the inaugural Wealth Management Technology and Cybersecurity Summit on Sept. 19 at Microsoft’s Technology Center in New York City. Registration is now open.
The mission of the Summit is to bring together members of the wealth management community to learn first-hand from technology, regulatory and financial services industry influencers during a day of inspiration, collaboration and networking. Event sponsors include industry leaders Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, MarketCounsel, and eSentire, in collaboration with Microsoft. The full-day event will take place at Microsoft’s offices.
“Throughout the last decade, we have seen a positive shift of firms starting to prioritize and understand the need to make technology and security core competencies of their business models,” said Sam Attias, Managing Director of Business Development at Workplace. “However, these same firms who recognize the urgency of implementing solutions are left with limited information and guidance to make educated decisions about which solutions are right for them for the long term. That is why we’re hosting this event, to bring together some of the most innovative minds in the financial services space to collaborate and inspire one another to educate, break barriers and push the industry forward.”
The Summit will feature panels and presentations that cover topics such as technology’s role in the breakaway space, how prepared the industry really is to combat cyber breaches, what is trending in regulatory compliance, the millennials’ tech dependency, and more.
“The rapid growth that our industry has seen in recent years would have been impossible if it weren’t for advancements in business and consumer technologies that have repeatedly pushed the envelope,” said Brian Hamburger, president and Chief Executive Officer of MarketCounsel. “We’re facing a regulatory landscape that is more stringent than we have ever seen, and it is crucial that the industry’s technology leaders respond swiftly. This event provides a thought leadership platform that allows us to come together and develop those cutting edge solutions.”
